Creating your intention for an animal communication
When I first started offering animal communications I would ask that people didn’t tell me anything- literally nothing, and I would tune in and see what the animal wanted to share with us or show us. The main reason I worked this way was so that I knew for myself that I wasn’t ‘making it up’. And that every piece of information that came to me was 100% coming from somewhere other than me. The down side of working like this is that it would take hours and hours to do the communication and in hindsight maybe limited the depth of what was possible. So fast forward about 15 years or so and I now ask for information around your intention for the communication and as much information as possible if there is something really specific you would like help with. Working this way now means I can get to the specifics a lot more quickly and take the time to go as deep as the animal would like to around what you are hoping to have more insight into. There is always time and space within a communication for the animal to share anything they would like to bring forward that may not be related to what you were initially feeling you would like the communication to be about. This is really important as there may be things that they which to share with us that we hadn’t realised were important or that are there waiting to be heard.
So within the context of setting your intention for an animal communication there is also the choices around questions and messages you may have for your animal, and what kind of approach you would like. Here are some things you may wish to consider-
Is the communication session to explore the animals wellbeing and preferences in life?
Is the communication purely an opportunity for the animal to share and show whatever they feel they would like to, with no agenda from you?
Do you have questions around your life that you would like your animals insights into?
There are so many topics that can be covered in a communication session, and taking a moment to feel into what you really would like from the session helps the energy of the whole experience flow together. Ultimately the animals are always in control of the process, they choose how much they would like to share and what is right for each person to know or understand at any given time.
If you would like some ideas around questions you could put forward for a communication session that you would like me to do, or that you would like to have a go at yourself just pop me a message via the contact form or drop me an email and I can send you some ideas.
